Terms of Service

1. The Service

Trekvana is a mobile app that generates travel itineraries using AI. The content Trekvana produces — including venues, hours, prices, availability, transit times, and safety notes — is informational only and can change without notice. You are responsible for verifying details (opening hours, closures, entry requirements, current pricing, weather, and local safety conditions) directly with the venue or an official source before relying on them.

2. Subscriptions

Your first trip is free. Additional trips require Trekvana Premium, sold through Apple In-App Purchase at $2.99 / month or $19.99 / year. Prices may vary by region and are shown in your local currency at checkout.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID.

To cancel, manage, or request a refund, use your Apple ID subscription settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS). Refunds are handled entirely by Apple under the App Store terms — Trekvana cannot issue refunds directly.

3. Affiliate Disclosure

Trekvana may display links to third-party services including Viator (tours and experiences), Stay22 (hotels and stays), and Amazon (packing gear). When you book or purchase through these links, Trekvana may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Trekvana is not responsible for the availability, quality, pricing, delivery, or conduct of any third-party service, and any transaction is solely between you and that provider.

4. Acceptable Use

Don't use Trekvana to break the law, harass others, scrape or resell our content, reverse engineer the app, or submit inputs designed to generate harmful, infringing, or misleading itineraries. We may suspend access for abuse.

5. Generated Content License

Personal Use Only. The itineraries, recommendations, and other content generated by Trekvana are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may use and share your itinerary with your travel companions for the purpose of planning and taking your trip.

No Commercial Exploitation. You may not copy, reproduce, publish, sell, license, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit Trekvana-generated itineraries or other content, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission.

No Competitive Use. You may not use Trekvana or its content to develop, train, improve, or operate a competing travel planning service, AI model, or similar product.

6. No Warranty; Travel Is Your Responsibility

Trekvana is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of AI-generated content.

All travel decisions — including where to go, where to stay, what to eat, what activities to book, and how to assess safety — are yours. Trekvana does not guarantee that any recommendation is currently open, safe, appropriate, or available.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trekvana Labs Inc. and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Trekvana or reliance on its content. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Trekvana in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Louisiana.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Trekvana after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
